Shrewsbury based, Sherratt Builders has a long history of providing first class building and carpentry services to homes and businesses throughout Shropshire and Mid-Wales, with much of its business secured through existing clients and referrals.
Sherratt Builders is a true family-owned and run business. Born to a family of builders, both of Richard Sherratt’s grandfathers owned and operated substantial construction businesses. Both companies were renowned, throughout Shropshire and Mid-Wales, for their friendly approach and the highest quality of workmanship.
W A Sherratt was sold in 1980 when Richard was still at school, but he had already caught the building bug and went on to train as a bricklayer. Richard achieved a City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in brickwork, recognising Richard’s ability to carry out a variety of roles in the construction industry to a high standard.
In 1995 Richard Sherratt set up his own building company based in Shrewsbury, inspired by his grandfathers’ approach of providing friendly, reliable building services to homeowners and companies throughout Shropshire and Mid-Wales.
Now working with a highly skilled team of craftsmen, Richard handpicks his team to ensure the very best outcome for the client with no building project considered too small or too large. All trades people i.e. bricklayers, plasterers and carpenters are trained, and hold the relevant NVQ’s and/or City & Guilds.
